Dr. Green was born and raised in Virginia, but moved to Florida in 1990 to attend Eckerd College. After graduating from Eckerd, she attended Vet school at Virginia Tech and received her DVM in 1999.

She has been practicing in Pinellas County for the past 11 years. She is a strong believer in the importance of the human-animal bond and a supporter of numerous animal rescue and service organizations.

She is an avid promoter of numerous organizations including: Southeastern Guide Dogs, Save Our Strays, Project Pup (Pets Uplifting People). Dr.Green has committed the practice to holding an Annual Dog Wash with proceeds benefiting a pet rescue or service organization in the area.
